APPEL A LA LIBERATION DU CINEASTE Mohammad Rasoulof
Le cinéaste iranien Mohammad Rasoulof, Prix Un certain regard Cannes 2017 pour son film "Un homme intègre" a été privé de sa liberté de circuler et de travailler depuis septembre 2017.
Le 23 juillet, il a été condamné à 1 an de prison ferme, suivi de 2 ans d'interdiction de se livrer à la moindre activité sociale et politique.
Mohammad Rasoulof est un artiste. Il est absurde de l'accuser de porter atteinte à la sécurité d'un état avec pour tout moyen une palette d'ombres et de lumières.
La Confédération Internationale des Cinémas d'Art et Essai (CICAE) et l'Association Française des Cinémas Art et Essai (AFCAE) se joignent au distributeur ARP Sélection et aux multiples voix à travers le monde pour réclamer l'annulation des peines décrétées à l'encontre du cinéaste Mohammad Rasoulof.

CALL FOR THE RELEASE of the filmmaker mohammad rasoulof
The Iranian movie director Mohammad Rasoulof, 2017's Un Certain Regard Award for his movie "A Man of Integrity" has been forbidden to travel and work since September 2017.
The 23rd of July, he was sentenced to one year of prison, followed by two years without being able to undertake any social or political activity.
Mohammad Rasoulof is an artist. It is absurd to accuse him of being a “national security threat” when his sole weapon is his palette of shadows and light.
The International Confederation of Art Cinemas (CICAE) and the French Association of Art Cinemas (AFCAE) join the distributor ARP Selection and the multiple voices worldwide to claim the immediate cancellation of Mohammad Rasoulof's sentences.
